Process

1) Preconstruction phase
If you don’t have plans for your project we can recommend an architect matched to your needs. If your project is smaller we can help with the design process.
Once the plans have been completed to your satisfaction, we will give you a preliminary estimate of the project costs. This is a fairly rough number, often using square foot pricing. Preliminary estimates are used to give us a ballpark estimate of what a project might cost.
At this point we will suggest alternative construction methods or materials that could save you money.
We provide preliminary schedules during the planning process as well as a list of decisions, material choices and deadlines that are linked to the schedule.
The final construction estimate takes place when the all drawings and specifications are complete. We make this estimate as accurate and thorough as possible.
2) Construction Phase
At Redpoint Builders we feel communication is essential for a successful relationship with the client. We will sit down with you every week and go over scheduling, change orders if appropriate, shop drawings, material selection, and detailed cost accounting. Budgets and schedules are tightly managed.
We provide our cell phone numbers for 24/7 access, should the need arise.
3) Post construction
Our work is done correctly and in a craftsmen like manner. If warranty or maintenance work is required we stand behind our work and will return to correct any problems. We realize that word of mouth is often the best advertisement and we do everything we can to make our clients happy.
Small jobs
We give the same care and attention to your small projects (decks, fences, window or door replacement, etc.) as on our largest job. We know that a small job today leads to larger jobs and/or referrals later.
